We evaluated the Best Cimarron Uruguayo In Europe 2025 similarly as each year since 2018.

As we promised sooner, for 2025 we investigated the possibility of the usage of pointing system used in Uruguay also in Europe and we got to the following conclusions.
In Uruguay, only dogs who have HD results can attend dog shows after the age of 12 months, so we will make this compulsory, too. At the same time, we will respect the age limit of single countries when they accept the X-rays done at Cimarron Uruguayo. It varies from 12 to 24 months. 12 months limit will stay for those countries, where X-rays are not compulsory. Parents must have X-rays (must be sent in), too (this is valid also for all dogs).
The Uruguayan pointing system differs for SCCU & KCU shows. SCCU are ONLY CU SPECIALTY SHOWS – which we do not have at all in Europe!!! Only those dogs can compete the yearly ranging, who were at least at 50 % of shows organized by SCCU!!! So nobody in Europe could compete at all!
If we inspect the KCU pointing system, they give the following points:
BOB – 6
BOJ – 5
BEST puppy – 2
CAC, CGC 5P, CJC – 1
So, there are NO points for BOS, CACIB, res. CACIB, res. CAC, excellent-very good, placement 1-4!
There are no points for veterans, minor puppy, honor class!
In the final ranking they list only 5 best adults each year! It is pity there are not all dogs that competed!
As the conclusion, it would not be correct for the European owners from different countries to apply the Uruguayan pointing system, as many owners from countries, where there are many CU in show ring would stay without any points, while owners from countries where only 1 CU is at the show would have advantage!
But, of course, those who wanted to change our current pointing system, could write their idea in private to the FB page or to Gabriella Hurtos, who would collect all ideas and come back with all requests. As there were no other requests the pointing systems stays unchanged, while X-rays became compulsory.

If you decide to compete, you must enter all your dogs who were at dog shows to avoid manupulation of the results! If you send in only data of some of your dogs and we find out that you had more dogs at dog shows, all your dogs will be excluded (at breeders this includes also all offspring).

Who could compete

Dogs of responsible breeders who entered all their dogs in the ownership of Europeans competed in the “Best Cimarron Uruguayo In Europe 2025” competition. Only data sent in to CUE Facebook page, via email or directly to any admin of the page till given date were evaluated. In 2025 we had 8 adult Cimarron Uruguayo dogs at shows compared to 8 dogs at shows in the previous year.

Results

Hestia Cerberus Illusion got the title “Best Cimarron Uruguayo Adult In Europe 2025.”

The first three winners in each category were rewarded by nice diplomas. The diplomas of ADULT winners can be seen below.

Categories

The dogs were rewarded in the following categories in 2025:

• Best Adult In Europe (only points from classes from which dog can compete for BOB counted)
• Best Female In Europe (according to the adult list)
• Best Male In Europe (according to the adult list)
• Best Veteran In Europe (only points when dog competed in veteran class counted)
• Best Kennel In Europe (total points of all dogs of the kennel are calculated)
• Best Progeny In Europe (all points of all dogs after parents owned by European breeders counted)

Best Cimarron Uruguayo in Europe 2025 per category

In 2025, 5 females and 3 males competed compared to 6 females and 2 males in 2024.

Two Cimarrons competed in veteran class in 2025.

In 2025, only one kennel competed with 8 dogs from 5 different litters.

We may not forget the parents who produced offspring winning at dog shows. The parents owned by European breeders, whose offspring competed are listed below.

We would like to thank to all, who went to dog shows and decided to compete in “Best Cimarron Uruguayo in Europe 2025” competition. We really appreciate that you propagated our beloved breed.

As owners and/or breeders sent in data of their own dogs and/or dogs which were bred by them, we will not remove any dog from the list. By sending in data everybody agrees to publish them on our webpage and relevant social media.

Due to GDPR we no more list dogs of breeders and/or owners who sooner refused to take part in the competition, asked additional removal of their dogs or tried to manipulate the results by sending in data only of some of their dogs! Disrespectful or quarrelling behavior with any member of the admin team is no more tolerated and will lead to forever exclusion from the competition!
